Does it Really Matter if I Share this Information?

ECAN commissioned a survey of more than 1,000 adults in the U.S. and we discovered that only 14% of Americans are aware that Reflux Disease can lead to Cancer.  Think of the lives you can save when you share this important message!

Reflux disease is much more than an annoyance.  And many people who have reflux don’t know it because they don’t feel any symptoms when the contents of their stomach splash up into their esophagus.  It can cause symptoms which many people don’t associate with reflux disease:

  • More than occasional heartburn
  • Heartburn Symptoms go away without explanation
  • Pain or Difficulty Swallowing
  • Ongoing, Unexplained Cough
  • Persistent Hoarse Voice
  • Long-lasting, unexplained sore throat
  • Coughing or choking upon lying down
  • Hiccups
  • Erosion of Tooth Enamel

A Special Message from Stephen Bogart, the only son of film legend Humphrey Bogart, who died of Esophageal Cancer in 1957.
