For more than ten years, ECAN has worked with supporters across the nation to raise awareness about Esophageal Cancer through entertaining and informative events. From rappelling to dancing to famous comedians, ECAN has consistently brought fun events to our supporters—but always with an important, educational message: HEARTBURN CAN CAUSE CANCER!
Today, we offer folks all the support they need to host their own events to raise awareness about Esophageal Cancer and/or raise funds to support the fight against this devastating disease.
ECAN makes it easy as can be with our special Event-in-a-Box that contains everything you need to get started on an awareness event in your own community!
No matter what your idea may be, we are here to help you turn it into reality. Don’t have an idea? We’ve got lots of suggestions to help you get going. Your event can be as large or as small as you want to make it. Every bit of awareness-raising matters because the best way we can defeat this cancer is by sharing a life-saving message!
ECAN also helps you to take Steps to Save Lives at our family-friendly, chip timed 5K events on Sunday mornings in communities around the nation.
You’ll get Professional Finish Line Photos – T-Shirts with our Cool Logo – Medals for all Finishers – Awards for Top Runners – Awards and PRIZES for Top Fundraisers and that warm, uplifting feeling that you are making an important difference!
We’ve even partnered with the folks at Couch to 5K to provide a Special Prep Program to Support You as you prepare for the race.
Join us as we Run, Walk and Roll (strollers and wheelchairs are welcome!) to fight Esophageal Cancer!
Thank You, Everyone!
