With animations that illustrate how to prevent, detect, treat, and cure Esophageal Cancer, ECAN, in partnership with the International Society of Diseases of the Esophagus (ISDE), has launched a new website to help patients understand their risks and how to address them.
With highly informative interviews with experts and patients, along with graphic images and animated videos, the new site
YouandEsophagealCancer.org provides a comprehensive understanding of the basics of Esophageal Cancer. Patients can access easy-to-understand interviews with doctors who specialize in gastroenterology, oncology, and surgery to gain a clear understanding of Esophageal Cancer. Interviews with patients diagnosed with Barrett’s Esophagus and Esophageal Cancer provide valuable insight into the journey patients will travel in addressing their risks and improving their outcomes.
ECAN was proud to unveil the new project at the 19th Annual World Congress for Esophageal Diseases in 
Toronto, Canada on Sept. 9, 2023.
